丁宗皓的散文集《乡邦札记》基本上都是写过去的日常生活的,但他没有把关注点集中在那些日常生活中的重大事情上,而是通过细节的雕刻和非典型事件的刻画来凸显其人类学上的意义。它赋予零碎的日常生活以典型的滋味,并从中挖掘其所蕴含的精神和心灵的高度,尤其是要从中挖掘出富有厚重感的文化深意。《乡邦札记》具有着巧妙的温婉的批判色彩,其柔韧的批判锋芒主要指向了伦理道德和所谓的现代性对传统文化的颠覆,尤其是在对自然生命的尊重和怀念上有着特殊的表达。《乡邦札记》的语言灵动而自然,能激起我们对彼岸世界的期待和警醒,是对写作上技术主义的一种委婉的抵抗。
