Objective To investigate the quality of life and related psychological factors in patients with traumatic brain injury syndrome. Methods From December 2008 to October 2009, 32 cases of post-traumatic brain injury syndrome in our hospital were surveyed by Health Status Questionnaire (SF-36), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) . Results The scores of all dimensions in PCS group were significantly lower than those in control group (P <0.05). The scores of anxiety and depression in PCS group were significantly higher than those in control group (P <0.05). Except for physical pain and energy dimension, Negatively correlated with SDS score, only two physiological functions and general health status in each dimension were negatively correlated with SAS score (P <0.05). Conclusion The quality of life of patients with traumatic brain injury syndrome is lower than the general level. The higher the depression and anxiety scores, the lower the quality of life.
