在马永强于宋庄的工作室,看到他新近创作的作品。起初还以为他来自央美实验艺术系或者油画系材料工作室,经了解之后才知道他毕业于版画系。但是,马永强的创作并没有限于版画,更多在架上油画中探索。经过一段时间的摸索之后,马永强放弃绘画性的油画,转向了制作性的综合材料,尤其是在沙的材料上获得突破,形成了自己的独特语言。马永强近来的创作,无论是抽象的“飞沙”系列,还是具象风景“百泉山”系列,都是以沙做材料。
Ma Yongqiang in Song Zhuang’s studio, see his newly created works. At first thought he came from the Department of Experimental Art of the United States or the Department of oil painting materials, learned that he graduated from the Department of Printmaking. However, Ma Yongqiang’s writing is not limited to printmaking, and more is explored in painting on the shelf. After a period of exploration, Ma Yongqiang abandoned the painting and turned to the making of synthetic materials, especially in the sand material to obtain a breakthrough, formed his own unique language. Ma Yongqiang recent creation, whether it is abstract “Feisha ” series, or the imagery “Baiquan Mountain ” series, are made of sand material.
