Acute mountain sickness (AMS) refers to a complex syndrome characterized by headache, gastrointestinal symptoms, weakness, fatigue, dyspnea and insomnia that occur when a person enters the high altitude area from the plains. In recent years, the study found that the occurrence of AMS and the compensatory capacity of the circulatory system are closely related. In this paper, by observing the changes of left atrium volume in AMS patients and non-AMS patients within 72 hours after the officers and soldiers entered the plain from a certain area, the purpose is to explore the relationship between AMS and compensatory capacity of left atrial function. The author selected 128 officers and soldiers from a certain area in the same area and took a bus to enter the plateau for the first time from a low altitude (an average elevation of 400m) (average altitude
