这几张颜色泛黄、纸面皲裂的素描,是我50年代在附中任教时所画,平时深藏画夹很少与人照面。今天翻出来“亮相”,只因为施绍辰校长听我说起过它们“劫后余生”的经历,多次希望我公诸同好。 我是1954年附中开办最早的专业教师之一。1953年毕业留校在绘画系当助教,调到附中便成了独挡一面的主课教师。没有附中的办学经验,只和朱颖人老师去中央美院附中取过一次经。面对全新的重任心情难免紧张。为了搞好教学我加倍努力备好课:除专心研究“教学大纲”和每一单元教学要求,还把每一张作业都先画一遍,力求在讲课与辅导时胸有成竹、掌握要领。还因为我学生时期都画素描,对新提倡的契斯恰可夫素描教学体系以及苏联模式的铅笔素描都很陌生,故而从单个的几何模型到大个的石膏胸像;从静物到人物肖像,我认真地画了一系列铅笔素描。

In order to do a good job in teaching, I doubled my efforts to prepare a good lesson: Apart from devoting myself to studying the Syllabus and the teaching requirements of each unit, I also drew out each homework first and tried my best to get ready for lectures and tutorials. But also because I draw a sketch during my student life and are unfamiliar with the newly introduced Cescakov Sketch Teaching System and the Soviet-style pencil sketches, so I went from a single geometric model to a large gypsum bust; from still life to portraits, I carefully draw a series of pencil sketches.
