代表人民利益是贯穿江泽民“三个代表”思想的红线。我党代表人民利益目前正面对看部分工农社会地位暂时性急剧下降、贫富差距扩大为信心的人民内部新矛盾、腐败严重蔓延这三大热点难点问题。必须有效防止人民的社会地位下降，以巩固我党的阶级基础和群众基础；必须以调节收入差距为核心去正确处人民内部的新矛盾；必须惩治腐败、纯洁组织以接受人民的监督；我党才能真正取信于民。
