日本古代,“散文”这个词儿,和我国一样,是针对诗词歌赋等韵文而言的,其意义的范围相当广泛。日语中的“随笔”是同诗歌、“物语”、戏曲相匹敌的,大致相当于我国现在狭义散文的概念。“随笔”一词本是从汉语移植过去的。此外,日本人还借用了英语es-say的说法,这两者的意义范围基本相似。日本的散文文学丰富多采,包括随笔、日记、游记、随想、报告、记录、讲演等多种样式。随笔文学是散文文学发展的主导,在日本文学史
In ancient Japan, the term “prose”, as in our country, refers to verse such as poetry and songwriting, and its scope of significance is quite extensive.
