文章从我国基础音乐教育改革的形势引发对普通高校音乐教育中教学方式的思考。在基础音乐教育的改革中,突出音乐本体与学科综合的特点,面向全体学生又注重个性方面的发展,既注重民族音乐又体现对多元音乐文化的关注和理解。对于普通高校音乐教育而言,它区别于高等教育中的专业和教师教育的音乐教育,一方面不能陷入对音乐本体的忽略,另一方面更要体现艺术学科的人文性内质,所以文章提出了“立足音乐本体向文化外延拓展”的观点。
