用重量法測定硫酸根,虽然准确度较高,但手續繁复,費时多,特别因为需要高溫灼燒,不适于野外分析、Fritz与Freeland推荐用茜素紅S作指示剂,以标准氯化鋇或过氯酸鋇溶液滴定,經我們試驗利用該法測定硫酸根含量較高的試样,准确度可与重量法相仿,但操作簡單,終点明显,易于掌握。由于用本法滴定时,某些阳离子发生干扰,使終点不明显,因此在滴定前,須將試液通过离子交換剂,以除去干扰离子。
