陈白一先生十分兴奋地告诉我,往年社会工作多,画画时间少,一年能搞一、两张工笔创作就不错了。近几年来,精力集中在画上,今年一年就画了十多张！嗬,一年做了过去上十年的事,真是丰收的季节来到了！ 在陈先生洁净的画室里,看到他好些描绘湘西苗民生活及小沙江瑶族风情等类的作品, Mr. Chen Baiyi told me with great excitement that in previous years, there was more social work and less drawing time.
