皖夏棉1号(淮80—2—1),是淮北市农技站从聊夏棉1号系统选育而成,属金字棉系统。该品种早熟、高产、优质、适应性较广,是适于接大麦茬和油菜茬直播的夏棉新品种。1989年6月经安徽省农作物品种审定委员会审定通过。一、特征特性。该品种生育期115～120天。株高70厘米左右,高者可达1.2米。植株呈塔形,较紧凑,果枝上仰,较疏朗清秀。叶片大小适中,叶色深绿,缺刻较深。后期棉株落黄快,有自然落叶习性。单株结铃较多,成铃率高,铃卵圆形,铃壳簿,单铃重4.0～4.7克。现蕾、开花较集中,吐絮畅,开花期至吐絮期为50天左右,比其它早熟品种早4～5天。霜前花率85%以上,衣分40%,衣指6.2克左右,子指9.5克左右,不
