Introduction The hematocrit, the percentage of the relative volume of red blood cells in whole blood, is one of the most important indicators of blood concentration.The most widely used standard measure of blood volume is centrifugation of blood to concentrate erythrocytes. Other measures of hemagglutination techniques are measured by measuring whole blood conductivity or resistivity.
