杨树是沈阳地区营造防风固沙林、用材林、农田林网、村屯绿化的首选树种。但是,在沈阳地区小区域范围内,引进种苗的品种和质量良莠不齐,引种渠道及品种适应状况也不规范,缺乏对杨树资源的调查和分类研究,这一现状在很大程度上制约了沈阳地区杨树产业的快速发展。本课题根据沈阳地区各小区域具体情况,按照杨树品种的生长环境和立地条件的不同,把沈阳地区杨树划分为5个区域,即东北部丘陵区、西北部土壤沙化区、中西部平原区、河流堤坝两侧和盐碱地区域,并确定45块标准地。对每个区域内杨树采用适应性综合评价法,以造林后的成活率、保存率、径生长量、抗寒性、蛀干害虫危害程度、感病害程度、主干干型等主要因素和高生长、枝侧强弱等次要因素为指标进行了综合评价。
