钢绳传动的抓铲挖掘机作业时,是利用自重使斗齿进入泥土层或插入物料的。抓取物料过程中,抓铲的提升和松斗钢绳均处于松驰状态。抓铲与臂顶滑轮槽往往不在同一个垂直平面内,提升过程中往往产生斜拉现象,使钢绳从轮槽中跳出来,直接与轮轴摩擦,有可能导致钢绳磨损而断裂,抓铲斗坠落。
