大学英语教师专业发展是卓越工程人才培养模式下的必备要素。针对卓越培养高校如何创造宽松良好的氛围促进卓越人才的培养和大学教师的专业发展,大学英语教师如何利用全新培养模式来不断促进自我的专业发展,本文通过问卷调查和个人访谈形式,对某校大学英语教师进行调查,勾画出目前大学英语教师专业发展所存在的挑战和机遇,试图总结分析教师专业发展的内外部因素和自我发展途径。调查发现:受访教师认为外部条件诸如高等院校和教育管理人员的支持、社会文化、教师个人成长经历等很重要;大多数教师认为需要在学科知识和理论、通识性教学理论和实践性知识以及专业发展知识等方面不断自我提高。
The professional development of college English teachers is an essential factor in the excellent engineering talent training mode. In the light of how to cultivate a good and loving atmosphere in colleges and universities, and to promote the cultivation of outstanding talents and the professional development of university teachers, how to use the new training model to continuously promote self-professional development of university English teachers? This paper, through questionnaires and personal interviews, College English teachers survey to outline the current challenges and opportunities for college English teachers in professional development, trying to summarize and analyze the internal and external factors and self-development path of teachers’ professional development. The survey found that: the interviewed teachers think that external conditions such as the support of higher education institutions and education managers, social culture, personal growth experience of teachers is very important; most teachers think that the need for disciplinary knowledge and theory, general education theory and practicality Knowledge and professional development knowledge continue to self-improvement.
