Franz Liszt, the most talented virtuoso of today, has long stunned the work of other composers ① and began to shock the world with a larger body of works by himself. Those accustomed to artistic creation who have been accustomed to their own creations are inseparable from the general audience; however, he can only cater to the audience’s appreciation habits. Liszt believes that songwriters should be beyond performers. Those enthusiastic friends and helpful journalists foretell this change in Liszt, a phenomenal benefit in music development; however, the change in performance master is more likely to cause the music industry to suffer almost irreparable damage.
