卢瑟福于1911年提出带核原子模型,几十年来,人们对核外电子的运动状态已作出详尽研究,但,原子电中性假定人们并未深究。本文推广应用Slater——徐光宪规则计算得到基态原子在一定范围内显正电性的原子正电模型。作为这种模型的一个实际应用或证明,文中处理了电负性这一十分有用而又众论纷繁的问题,揭示了电负性的本质,提出“电正性”概念,并给出了电正性的计算式,求得周期表各元素的电正性数值,得到了较好的结果。六十年代初,有人给出惰气元素电负性数据,但与其它元素电负性含义不统一,应用受到限制,为解决这一问题,文中提出元素的金属性电正性和非金属性电正性概念,给出了计算公式,求得周期表各元素的具体数值,并在此基础上,讨论和予示了惰气元素形成化合物的可能性。
