In the face of difficulties, the factory’s leaders looked inwards, analyzed favorable conditions and unfavorable factors, conducted comparative calculations, and formulated ten concrete measures to tap 20 million yuan. First, three steelmaking plants reduced smelting scrap by 10% and scrapped 800 tons; three rolling mills reduced 480 tons of scrap.
