研究时用钒酸铵(NH_4VO_3)溶液作浮选对象,每升含V10~50毫克,用盐酸松香胺(FXAK)作钒离子的捕收剂。FXAK配成0.4%的水溶液,按化学计量加入钒酸铵溶液,小心搅拌1~2分钟后开始浮选。捕收剂与所回收的离子间的作用很快,并且形成稳定的松香胺钒缔合物的胶体溶液。在浮选过程中,钒离子的成分转移到溶液-气体的相界面。浮选在φ40,高500毫米的玻璃柱中进行。柱底用梭那4号过滤漏斗,全部注入柱中的溶液容积为100毫升,充气速度为1微立方米/秒。浮选时间10分钟。
