1995年和1996年在新疆准噶尔盆地北缘乌伦古河沿岸中中新世地层中新发现的食肉类,经研究有8属9种,包括一新种:Nimravussp.、Pseudaeluruscuspidatussp.nov.、Protictitheriumintermedium、Protictitherium小种、Thalassictischinjiensis、Gobicyonsp.、Oligobunis?sp.、Alopecocyongoeriachensis和Simocyon小种.新材料虽较破碎,但其发现扩大了一些已知属种的地层和地理分布范围。通过对标本的观察和对比,对各属种的系统发育作了讨论。各属种与通古尔、丁家二沟、下草湾等动物群以及欧洲、南亚相关动物群的食肉类分子的比较结果尚不能肯定含化石地层的确切时代,但有可能早于通古尔组。
The newly discovered carnivorous species in the Middle Miocene strata of the Wulungu River in the northern margin of the Junggar Basin in 1995 and 1996 were studied in 8 genera and 9 species, including a new species, Nimravussp. , Pseudaeluruscuspidatussp. Nov., Protictitheriumintermedium, Protictitherium races, Thalassictischinjiensis, Gobicyonsp. Oligobunis? sp. , Alopecocyongoeriachensis and Simocyon races. The new material, though fragmented, has found that it extends the stratigraphic and geographical distribution of some known genera. Through the observation and comparison of specimens, the phylogeny of each species was discussed. The comparison of the carnivores between the genera and the faunas of Tungur, Dingjia Ergou, Xiacaowan and other related fauna in Europe and South Asia can not yet confirm the exact age of fossil-bearing formations, but it is probable that they are earlier than Tungur group.
