在中国古典诗词中有一类词语非常重要、非常特殊,如“蟋蟀”“鹧鸪”“杜鹃”“杨柳”“斑竹”“芭蕉”“浮萍”等。其重要性在于它往往寄寓着作家的情感,影响着意境的基调;其特殊性在于理解它的意义仅靠其本身表面的含义是远远不够的。这类词语在古典诗词中有着约定俗成的含义,形成比较固定的意象,表达特定的情感,而且与传统文化——民俗民情等有着千丝万缕的联系,是几千年传统文化积淀的结晶。学习继承传统文化不能忽视这类词语,鉴赏古诗词更需了解这类特殊意象。
