This article was chosen because almost all reviews or news articles that talk about “The Matrix” always have to be put on a philosophical coat once again, with its glitzy extras. And at the beginning of the movie “The Matrix,” the book Neo picked up in bed was the “emulation and simulacrum” of contemporary French theorist Jean Baudrillard. If the whole “Matrix” wearing an invisible philosophy clothes, then Neo picked up the book is scattered in the film a philosophy button. The author tries to think through this button of philosophy that many people did not quite understand what Baudrillard’s philosophical thoughts implied in the blockbuster movies are, what is the relationship between culture and aesthetics.
