教育部《大学英语课程教学要求》中明确规定要求大学生应具备一定的翻译技能。应用关联理论翻译观指导翻译教学有助于让学生认识到翻译活动是一种涉及原文作者、译者和译文读者的三元交际活动,培养学生在具体语境中对原文进行正确理解的习惯,以及准确地用文字传递出原文作者交际意图的翻译素养,从而提升大学生的英汉翻译能力。
The Ministry of Education’s “Requirements for College English Teaching” clearly stipulates that college students should have certain translation skills. Applying the relevance theory translation view to guide translation teaching helps students to realize that translation activity is a kind of ternary communication activity involving original authors, translators, and target readers, and cultivates students’ habit of correctly understanding the original text in specific contexts. And accurately convey the translation literacy of the original author’s communicative intention with words, so as to enhance the college students’ English-Chinese translation ability.
