妓女玉墨是美籍华人严歌苓中篇小说《金陵十三钗》的女主人公之一。在一种特殊的文化和道德的背景之下,作者把对她进行心灵的剖析和人性的拷问,抽丝剥茧地唤起人们内心深处的痛处以及反思。导演张艺谋经过大量改编,将其搬到了银幕。小说中的玉墨形象和电影中有所不同。本文旨在从赛义德的东方主义角度浅析小说中玉墨形象在电影中的变异及其原因。
Prostitute Yu ink is a Chinese American Yan Geling novella “Jinling 13 hairpin” one of the heroine. In a special cultural and moral context, the author of her spiritual analysis and human torture, clues to arouse people’s heart sores and reflection. Director Zhang Yimou after a large number of adaptation, it moved to the screen. Jade Ink images and novels in the novel are different. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the variation of the jade-ink image in the novel from the perspective of Saeed’s Orientalism and its causes.
