“未来的世界方向比努力重要,能力比知识重要,健康比成绩重要,生活比文凭重要,情商比智商重要!”——这是清华大学校长留给毕业生的五句话。在我国新一轮课程改革中,地理课程标准把培养学生的情感、能力、态度、价值观作为地理教学的重要目标。情感教育是地理学科育人功能的体现,是教学规律和客观的要求,是实施素质教育的需要。让学生受到良好的情感教育,对培养未来社会的合格公民、提高民族素质具有十分重要的意义。
“The direction of the future world is more important than effort, ability is more important than knowledge, health is more important than achievement, life is more important than diploma, emotional intelligence is more important than IQ! ” - This is the five words Tsinghua University president left for graduates. In the new round of curriculum reform in our country, the geography curriculum standard regards the cultivation of students’ emotion, ability, attitude and values as the important goal of geography teaching. Emotional education is the manifestation of the function of educating people in geography, which is the teaching rule and objective requirement. It is the need of implementing quality education. It is of great significance for students to receive good emotional education and to cultivate qualified citizens in future societies and improve their national quality.
