1993年水科学与工程国际会议于6月7日～11日在美国首都华盛顿市中心核特大厦召开。有50多个国家的600多位专家,学者出席了会议。中国出席会议的代表有:中国水利学会理事长、水利部前部长杨振怀,中国水科学会秘书长、水利部科技司司长戴定忠,学部委员张光斗、窦国仁、林秉南教授等13位(包括台湾2位)专家、学者。大会选取了100多篇论文在会议上作了发言。我国长江三峡工程是会议的中心议题之一。我
The 1993 International Conference on Water Science and Engineering was held on June 7-11 at the Nuclear Tower in downtown Washington, DC. More than 600 experts and scholars from over 50 countries attended the conference. Representatives of China attended the meeting: Yang Zhenhuai, director of China Water Conservancy Society, former minister of Ministry of Water Resources, secretary general of China Water Science Society, Dai Dingzhong, director of Science and Technology Department of Ministry of Water Resources, 13 members including Professor Zhang Guotou, Dou Guoren and Professor Lin Bingnan, )experts and scholars. The conference selected more than 100 papers made a speech at the meeting. China Three Gorges Project is one of the central issues of the conference. I
