将中华绒螯蟹Eriocheir sinensis不同发育期的胚胎从腹肢基部剪下后在室温下孵化,结果表明,处于卵裂期、囊胚期和原肠期的胚胎离体孵化的孵化率(42.16%~54.90%)无显著差异(P>0.05);从原肠期开始,离体孵化的孵化率随着离体时间的缩短呈升高的趋势,即眼点期(68.95%±5.89%)和心跳期(77.47%±5.45%)极显著高于(P<0.01)前3个时期,对外界环境的适应性也增强,这5个时期离体胚胎孵出的溞状幼体的变态率差异不显著(P>0.05)。试验证明,剪掉抱卵腹肢进行胚胎离体孵化,不但促进了亲蟹卵巢的快速发育,而且还降低了投喂、调节水质等费用。
