选矿厂设备、设施长期与矿粉、矿浆接触,冲刷磨损严重,故障频繁。2002年5月,我公司选矿厂新上磨前湿式磁选甩废项目后,矿浆粒级加大,各种槽体、磁选机滚筒、渣浆泵叶轮护套和输送管道磨损速度明显加快,经常造成停机停产,跑、冒、滴、漏频繁发生,生产现场污染严重。为解决上述磨损问题,我公司组织专业人员对各种耐磨材料(奥氏体不锈钢、高锰钢、高铸铁、耐磨橡胶、耐磨陶瓷材料等)进行多次对比实验,实验结果表明,耐磨陶瓷材料使用效果最好。
