对“红色经典”的评判之所以难以达成一致,是因为“红色经典”不仅在政治倾向性和文学自足独立性的夹缝中艰难生长,而且承受着五四话语和延安精神的双重规训,不仅在现实意识和传统观念之间摇摆不定,而且难以在历史理性与革命激情之间求得平衡,是多重视域艰难融合的产物。“红色经典”虽然与中国传统古典小说有着千丝万缕的天然联系,但在创作观念、文化内涵、情感基调等方面存在着明显的差异,所进行的是现代性的超越而非皈依式的继承,恰恰是对古典小说的扬弃,才是“红色经典”的真正价值所在。对“红色经典”的改编,使其从意识形态的形象化书写转向包容性极强的消费品包装;从强烈的时间意识转向对时间的暧昧;从神话的努力重铸转向传奇的机械复制。从根本上说,是从主流文化到大众文化的裂变。
