长期以来,在英语教学实践中,比较注重形式及意义的讲解,教学与文化的关系一直未得到足够的重视,常常因不了解中西文化差异而造成歧义和误解。因此,必须重视文化的力量,尤其是重视中西文化差异对英语学习的制约作用。鉴于此,在分析中西文化差异对高校英语教学的影响的基础上,提出加强高校英语跨文化教育的对策和方法。 For a long time, in the practice of English teaching, more emphasis has been put on the explanation of forms and meanings. The relationship between teaching and culture has not been given enough attention. It often causes ambiguity and misunderstanding because it does not understand the cultural differences between China and the West. Therefore, we must attach importance to the power of culture, especially the emphasis on the cultural differences between China and the West to English learning constraints. In view of this, on the basis of analyzing the influence of the cultural differences between China and the West on the English teaching in colleges and universities, the countermeasures and methods to strengthen intercultural English education in colleges and universities are put forward.
