提出了一种有关ＡＴＭ 网络中ＡＢＲ 业务的流量控制机制———ＥＲ（ＦＢ） 算法，通过对双向ＲＭ 信元的处理（ 信元由信源往信宿的方向为前向Ｆ，由信宿往信源为后向Ｂ），得到了在带宽分配的公平性、链路利用率及交换节点队列占用等方面的良好性能．
An ER (FB) algorithm for traffic control of ABR service in ATM network is proposed. Through the processing of bidirectional RM cells (the direction of cell from source to sink is forward F, The source is backward B), get the good performance in the fairness of bandwidth allocation, link utilization and switch node queue occupancy.
