The vocational education and training (VET) system helps people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) back-grounds to integrate and settle into society. However, successful completion of VET is closely related to CALD learners”language skills. This literature review aims at identifying the main methods of language skills improvement for VET learners from CALD backgrounds. Five language support/training methods based on different theoretical models are also introduced in this literature re-view, including the model outlines and target groups.
