扇形段自由辊的使用寿命严重影响到连铸机的使用效率和铸坯质量。连铸机扇形段寿命低,更换周期短,其主要原因是自由辊使用寿命低,经常发生轴颈断裂、水套漏水、轴承座损坏和轴承卡死等故障。通过改进自由辊辊颈结构降低轴颈应力集中,采用整体式芯轴避免水套漏水,同时选用高承载力轴承,优化设计轴承座,增加轴承座的坚固性,来提高自由辊的强度。通过上述措施的实施,自由辊使用寿命和扇形段使用周期大幅提高,解决了扇形段长期以来因自由辊失效而频繁下线的问题。

Through the implementation of the above measures, the service life of the free roller and the service life of the segment are greatly increased, which solves the problem that the segment has frequently been offline due to the failure of the free roller for a long time.
