In the north of Lyon, France, the Rochetaillée is a distinctive area that stretches along the left bank of the Saone River for 2 km. This inward river bank is protected from the currents of the river’s currents and has an open field of view facing the Monts d’Or. It forms a meandering curve that stretches along the river, with a pebble beach and a sand beach. At the beginning of the 20th century, there were open-air cafes and dance courts, and it was Lyon’s favorite sandy beach for the working class. However, this tradition only lasted for a few years. Vehicles began to occupy a lot of space. The road cut off the connection between the river and the village.
