現在各級學校師生健康問題,仍需我們予以極大的注意,仍需我們用各種辦法積極地加以改進。改進的辦法,主要地應該從增加營養和減少過重的負擔兩方面著手。本刊本期發表的北京市教育局,會同衛生局、青年團、學聯、合作總社和西單區聯社聯合檢查和改進西單區中學學生伙食情況的材料很好。從他們增進學生營養方面取得的經驗中可以看到:只要領導上重視,克服官僚主義與保守思想,發動同學和伙食人員、廚工同志大家動手來改善伙食,那末,用同樣的錢,就可以比未改善前吃得好得多,學生的健康就可以大大地改進。他們提出的「提高副食、調濟主食、壓縮雜支」的改善伙食的原則,也是正確的,各地學校可以參考執行。
