从模糊限制语的定义及其分类分析探讨了模糊限制语在英语课堂教学中的不可替代的重要作用。在英语课堂教学中教师使用模糊限制语可以使教师语言礼貌、得体,语言表达得更为贴切,符合客观事实,避免过于武断,从而达到教学质量的提高。
From the definition of hedges and its classification analysis, the author discusses the important role of hedges in English classroom teaching. In the English classroom teaching, the teachers can use hedges to make the teacher’s language polite, graceful, and language more appropriate, which is in line with the objective fact, to avoid being too arbitrary, so as to improve the teaching quality.
