词汇是英语语言的三大构成要素之一,衡量英语学习需要依靠单词的记忆和熟练程度。然而在英语学习内容的深度化和词汇量的扩大,庞大的英语词汇让许多英语学习效果提高较慢的部分学生感到力不从心,在记忆单词的过程中,学生很大程度上受到记忆固有的记忆困难等不同程度的影响产生英语学习兴趣的低下现实。英语学习兴趣的缺失给听说和阅读理解等能力的提高带来极大困难。因此,词汇教学在英语教学的重要性日趋提高,如何有效提高学生记忆单词的能力和效果更是英语教学的重要研究方向。
