我喜欢拍摄纪实人像,尤其是喜欢拍摄赣南这块红土地上的人物形象。赣南客家人勤劳质朴,由于长期在烈日下劳作他们的肌肤黝黑粗糙。他们的要求很简单,付出的代价往往却不小。我自己也曾是一个知青,当过生产队长,对那里的生活有着切身的体会和深厚的感情,它时时激励着我拿起手中的相机去记录他们自然朴素的生活状态。所以从赣南人的劳动形象到“社戏人物”、“乡渡”及现在的“新农村建设”都是我最熟悉、感受最深刻的创作素材。我也经常带着我的学生到川藏和云贵高原去写生、考察,高原人粗犷的形象、虔诚的信仰,与苗、侗族仍旧保留着的自然原生态的生活状态及其独特的民族服饰,又使我体验了另外的一种感动。
I like to shoot documentary portraits, especially those who like to shoot this red land in southern Jiangxi. Gannan Hakka diligence simple, due to long-term labor in the hot sun their dark and rough skin. Their requirements are simple and the price they pay is often not small. I was an educated youth and a production captain. I had personal experience and deep feelings for the life there. It inspired me from time to time to pick up the cameras in my hands and record their natural lifestyles. Therefore, from the labor image of Gannan people to “social drama characters”, “township” and now “new rural construction” are the most familiar and most profound creative material. I often take my students to the Sichuan-Tibet and Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau to sketching, inspecting the rugged image of the plateau, pious faith, and the original state of life and the unique native costumes that the Miao and the Dongs still retain. And let me experience another kind of moving.
