世界和平到来之后,电影本应继续繁荣发展下去,但电影的第一次危机却悄悄到来了。1950年前后,美国电影遭到了前所未有的重创,而导致这次危机的直接原因是电视的诞生。随着电视机开始进入每一个家庭,那些原来热衷于在电影院里看电影的人们回到了家中,因为他们更愿意一家人围坐在电视机前无拘无束地欣赏节目。电视对于电影的大举进攻有如二战后期的盟军打败希特勒一样,其声势锐不可当。而由好莱坞刚刚开创的电影辉煌,也在电视的冲击下草草落幕。
After the advent of peace in the world, the movie should have continued its prosperity and development. However, the first crisis of the movie came quietly. Before and after 1950, American movies hit an unprecedented hit. The direct cause of this crisis was the birth of television. As televisions began to enter every home, those who were keen to watch movies in theaters returned home, as they would prefer to sit back and watch the family unwinding in front of the television. Like the allied forces that defeated Hitler in the latter part of World War II, television was overwhelmed by its massive offensive. The Hollywood film has just created a brilliant, but also under the influence of television ended in hastily.
