Oolites, bean-shaped structures and concentric ring structures are generally observed in the ore of the Middle Triassic Labrador Formation in Southeast Yunnan. Manganese ore samples collected from typical deposits in Dounan, Yanzijiao and Laosao in this area were systematically observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Representative samples were analyzed by cathodoluminescence. According to the microstructure of oolitic and bean-shaped ores, it is found that the oolitic and bean-like structures of these ores are microscopic laminated structures formed by the condensation of blue-green algae microorganisms and have the core and cladding of the nucleocapsids. The microstructure characteristics of the bright and dark layers can be compared with that of the modern deep-sea ocean iron-manganese nodules. Preliminary results show that manganese enrichment in this area may be closely related to microbial activity.
