草酸有多种用途。它用于铝磨光,去锈、脱色、去污、淀粉水解和药物合成。在纺织工业中,用它做助染剂以脱污和软漂白。迄今,广泛应用的生产草酸的方法是用一氧化碳加压下与氢氧化钠合成甲酸钠,再将甲酸钠经多步处理,最后得草酸。此即所谓甲酸盐方法。此外,也用碳水化合物硝酸氧化和糖类发酵的副产物等方法生产草酸。上述三种方法中,以甲酸盐法最为流行。
Oxalic acid has many uses. It is used for aluminum polishing, rust removal, decolorization, decontamination, starch hydrolysis and drug synthesis. In the textile industry, it is used as a dye builder to decontaminate and soft bleach. So far, the widely used method for the production of oxalic acid is to synthesize sodium formate with sodium hydroxide under pressure with carbon monoxide, and then subject the sodium formate to a multistep process to obtain oxalic acid. This is the so-called formate method. In addition, oxalic acid is also produced by a method of nitric acid oxidation of carbohydrate and by-product of saccharification. Of the three methods, the most popular formate method.
