人殉,简单地说就是以活人作为死者殉葬品的葬俗,以卑者殉尊者为常见。在中国古代帝王死后,人殉比较普遍,秦始皇嬴政死后,殉葬者数量惊人,大概创造了历史之最。但在汉朝以后,此恶俗慢慢消失了,至唐朝则已非常罕见,接近废除。但到明代却死灰复燃,这古老的葬俗由此再添一层神秘。
Human martyrdom, simply put is living funeral sacrifice of the dead as the funeral, in order to pay for those who worship martyrs are common. After the death of ancient Chinese emperors, human sacrifice was more common. After the First Emperor died, the number of sacrificial beings was staggering, probably creating the most history. However, after the Han Dynasty, this vulgarism gradually disappeared, and by the Tang Dynasty it was very rare and nearly abolished. However, the Ming Dynasty was resurgent, this ancient burial customs thus add another layer of mystery.
