英语句子的倒装有两种,最常见的一种是,只有谓语的一部分(如:助动词、情态动词和连系动词)位于主语之前,如果没有助动词、情态动词和连系动词,要加上do,does或did,这种语序叫做部分倒装(PARTIAL INVERSION)。例如:Have you heardfrom him?另一种是谓语动词全部位于主语之前,叫做完全倒装(FULL INVERSION或COMPLETEINVERSION)。例如On the stairs was sitting asmall dark-haired girl.
There are two kinds of flip-flops in English. The most common one is that only part of the predicate (such as auxiliary, modal and conjunctions) precedes the subject. If there is no auxiliary, modal and conjunctive verb, Do, does, or did, this order is called PARTIAL INVERSION. For example: Have you heardfrom him? The other is predicate verbs all before the subject, called full flip (FULL INVERSION or COMPLETEINVERSION). For example On the stairs was sitting asmall dark-haired girl.
