  Abstract:With the development of the advertisement, people tend to study the stylistic analysis of it. However, in this paper, the focus will be on the songs in beverage advertisement. The analysis will be focused on the features of the beverage advertisement songs and the stylistics of it. The aim of the paper is to improve the people and the scholars’ understanding of the beverage advertisement songs.

  1.The features of the beverage advertisement songs
  As for the songs, the combination of the melody and the lyrics both make the songs impressing. Since this paper focus on the stylistics analysis, much concentration is taken upon the lyrics.
  1.1lively melody
  The melody of the songs is usually lively. Through the voices, the advertisers tend to give the audience a seeing and hearing feast in order to increase the products. The lively melody can give the potential consumer a happy feeling. Just like drinking the beverage and be refreshing.
  1.2memorable
  Admittedly, the songs of the beverage advertisement are very memorable. They are so perfect that ranking the top in the musical industry. For instance, the song “we will rock you” in CoCa Cola is very popular.
  2.The stylistics characteristics of the songs in beverage advertisement
  The lyrics of the songs in beverage advertisement bear the stylistics characteristics. In this paper, the stylistics analysis will be focused on vocabulary, pronunciation, syntax.
  2.1vocabulary
  The vocabulary in the beverage ads is worthy of being studied. Every word in the beverage advertisement is carefully chosen to reach the effect.
  2.1.1 modal verb
  Modal verb is frequently used. The example will be open up, a beautiful song in Nestle advertisement. The lyrics are below:
  “You can be rich with no money to spend. You can do everything when you understand. You can be mother when you are a man. Open up, you can know that you can. Open up the borders and start in your head. Open your mind to thoughts seldom said. Open your heart and open your mind. Open your thoughts and don’t stay behind. Let’s get there.”
  Another example is the song in the famous whisky brand Chivas Regal, the name of the song is When you know. The lyrics are below:
  We could be together, everyday together, we could sit forever, as loving waves spill over. The moon is fully risen and shines over the sea as you glide in my vision. I’ll take you in my wings. In the garden of the sea, I see you looking over with my wistful melody. You leap into the water.
  It can be seen that the modal word “can” is frequently used. The appearance of the “can” can show that the extraordinary effect on the consumer, thus creating the condition of buying the product, especially the beverage.
  2.1.2 pronoun
  Another feature is the use of the pronoun. The first pronoun “we” and “I” can shorten the distance between the consumers and the products and enhance the consumer’s sense of participation. The second pronoun “you” specialize the potential target is the audience. The combination use of the auxiliary word and the pronoun is careful used to reach the expected benefits. The function of them both is to persuade the potential consumer to try the product.
