2012年6月29日11时,龙(岩)厦(门)铁路开通运营暨动车组首发仪式在福建龙岩举行。龙厦铁路是《中长期铁路网规划》组成部分,也是福建省“一纵两横”快速铁路网重要组成部分,是以客运为主、兼顾货运的I级双线电气化铁路干线,全长169 km,其中新建双线电气化铁路约111.349 km。龙厦铁路开通运营后,龙岩—厦门间铁路运输距离可缩短80km,旅客列车运行时速将由65km提高到200 km,时间将由5 h缩短至90 min。 At 2900 on June 29, 2012, the opening ceremony of Xiamen Longmen (Xiamen) Railway and the starting ceremony of EMU were held in Longyan, Fujian. Longxia Railway is an integral part of “Medium and Long-Term Railway Network Planning” and also an important part of Fujian Province’s “One Longitudinal and Two Horizontal Crossing Express Rail Networks”. It is a Class I double-track electrified railway trunk line mainly with passenger and cargo 169 km long, of which about 111.349 km new double-track electrified railway. After the opening and operation of Longxia Railway, the distance between Longyan and Xiamen can be shortened by 80km and the speed of passenger trains can be increased from 65km to 200km. The time will be shortened from 5 hours to 90 minutes.
