Students’ dormitories are places where every resident student touches the university. Schools often consider the student dormitory as just a space for students to live and store things. Few will consider student dormitories as a place for students to exchange ideas and learn from each other Of the space, so most of the student dormitory space is now more monotonous. Coupled with the growing diversity of student life, different cultural contacts, the accumulation of different life experiences, so the needs of students in the dormitory space will be different. Therefore, different students have different perceptions of dormitory space, and students hope to live in dorms that they like and learn. The dormitory is no longer just a living space, but should be a collection of social, sports, learning, entertainment and many other functions in one space. To a certain extent, this requires that we improve the traditional design of dormitory space and create a space suitable for the psychological needs and lifestyles of modern college students. For the different needs of students, the design of human-oriented dormitory space is very necessary. Especially in the cold northeast, due to the climatic and environmental constraints, students spend more time indoors, but also the humanity of dormitory space.
