介绍了电气制动的工作原理 ,它是基于同步电机的电枢反应。电气制动相比于机械制动具有制动力矩大、停机速度快、清洁无污染 ,但随着当前推力轴瓦的较大改善 ,机械制动也日趋成为可能。就新形势下水轮发电机组采用电气制动技术中存在的一些问题 ,如加装电气制动装置带来资金、场地的困难 ,以及在已安装电气制动的机组上实际运行所暴露出的制动电流过大 ,投入时间间隔过短等缺陷提出了将电气制动与励磁系统结合、电气制动与机械制动混合制动的改良措施。
