The new newsprint machine at the Heilongjiang Group’s Qiqihar Paper Mill is undergoing trial run and the new paper machine will be put into commercial operation within one month. The 625t/d optimised concept paper machine was provided by Valmet. The paper machine had a width of 6.1m and a design speed of 1800m/min. The mill had a good adjustment of the paper machine. The current operating speed was 1200m/min. The plant has sold some products produced by the paper machine to the domestic market, mainly newsprint with a basis weight of 48.8g/m2.
