在目前的大学英语教学中,由于教学进度安排的十分紧凑,部分学生基础较差,学生缺乏自主学习能力等原因,导致学生听、说、读、写、译的能力很难达到教学大纲的要求。自主-合作学习模式以提高学生的英语学习能力为目标,通过课堂和课外两种学习环境,发挥学生、教师、同伴三种因素的作用,努力培养学生的自主学习能力,培养学生和同伴间的合作精神,培养学生和教师之间和谐的师生关系,增强学生间的竞争意识,促进学生的全面成长。
