回顾了中国园林从殷商时期至现代的发展历史,指出公园在城市居民生活中充当着越来越重要的地位,因此应制订配套的公园适宜性评价体系.分析说明城市公园的适宜性评价不能局限于公园的基本功能评价,更要对公园的生态价值、文化传承和特色构建进行综合评价.通过列举国内外对城市公园的指标、类型、使用状况、景观可达性等方面的研究现状,认为对于公园适宜性的评价应建立综合性的评价体系,选择合理的评价方法,并在评价体系中加入公众参与性的评价指标,从而确保研究结果的科学性.
